It would definitely be worth adding the online photo editor Ribbet to your list:

It is an excellent editor based on the Picnik platform, and for a limited time all their premium features are free. Ribbet has thousands of effects, stickers, frames, and advanced effects like levels, clone and curves, and all uploads and edited photos are kept in an online history for registered users.

I enjoy gimp, but I’ve noticed that it only saves as one file type, and I can’t open them after I’ve saved them unless it’s with the program itself.

When you use Gimp, you need to use the export option and you can save as almost any file type.

I put gimp on my comp from your site because it was first on your list and it took me 30 minutes to remove all the crap that was installed with it. Won’t be visiting here again.

I have a laptop with Windows Vista Home SP2. As per minimum system requirements mentioned by you, I tried installing Paint.Net and Windows Live Photo Gallery 2011. I couldn’t get them installed because none of these is valid for Vista anymore. The minimum system requirement is Windows 7 for both of these software. However GIMP and PICASA are working fine.

Kindly update your site to save others from hassles. Thanks anyways.
