The 100 Best Freeware for Windows is a very useful guide. Reading it i can across several useful applications that I had not heard about. Thanks for sharing your proposals.

While clearly you cannot cover everything within your 100 recommendations i think you are missing an important segment – namely desktop searching: for files. folders and file content. What Windows offers in this area is too limited in several different ways. Un addition it would be useful to add at least one entry for the category – Alternative File Managers – because in this area as well what Windows offers is too limited. I will certainly keep you guide to hand and search your site from time to time looking for innivative and interesting freeware.
